"... it's not going to go away."
So, as many of you are probably aware Bronco's QB, Jay Cutler, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes a couple of weeks ago. This is the same type of diabetes that my daughter lives with and has lived with for the past (almost) 6 years. Jay is a 25 year old, healthy, active athlete. Like my daughter he did nothing to get this disease. He will have to take insulin for the rest of his life, as all people with type 1 diabetes must. Amy and Emma will be in Denver in June. Maybe you guys can finally meet up!
That would be most excellent. If you haven't already done so, give Amy my cell number and we'll make plans to get together. I may have a new job by then, so hopefully that won't cut back on my availability. I would love to finally meet them, as would Samantha. Emma is a bit of a superstar in our house!
