... I love my friends.

Today was my birthday. I spent the first half of it with my family, whom I love and value more than anything. The last half of the day I spent with my friends. I love them. I really do. They may be my family too, but they are all family by choice rather than by chance, which makes them that much more special. I heart you, guys. Thanks for rockin' my birthday with me.

Good on ya for leaving Patrick to deal with the hangover alone. I am sure I wll feel just peechy in the morning.

Hugs.

P.S. Ben .... I missed you.

"... it's not going to go away."

So, as many of you are probably aware Bronco's QB, Jay Cutler, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes a couple of weeks ago. This is the same type of diabetes that my daughter lives with and has lived with for the past (almost) 6 years. Jay is a 25 year old, healthy, active athlete. Like my daughter he did nothing to get this disease. He will have to take insulin for the rest of his life, as all people with type 1 diabetes must. Please take the time to check out Jay's press conference and listen to his story.
